Our Ambassador program empowers retired Illinois law enforcement officers to reconnect with departments and support officer wellness from the inside out.
Our Ambassadors are trained and deployed to lead roll call and wellness visits across the state. Built on shared experience, this program creates a sense of connection and understanding that helps break down stigma and encourages officers to seek support when they need it most.
Bank The Blue Ambassador Requirements
- All applicants must have at least 10 years of full-time service as a sworn law enforcement officer and retired in good standing to apply
- Officers are required to complete an online questionnaire
- Volunteers will be required to submit current identification from their law enforcement agency as part of the vetting process
- All applicants will receive an 8 hour training by Bank The Blue to make effective roll call visits to police departments across Illinois
