Bank the Blue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides law enforcement officers with access to confidential mental health treatment and support outside of their departments. These efforts are implemented in partnership with certified mental health providers who specialize in trauma therapy, crisis management, and evidence-based therapies that are oriented for the unique needs of first responders. The partnership between mental health providers and Bank The Blue establishes a network of resources that promote the resiliency and mental wellness of first responders. These partnerships enable police officers to be proactive in their mental and behavioral health.
Clinicians must have specialized training and experience in strategic therapy and intervention techniques for law enforcement officers. Certification in the following psychotherapeutic treatments is required:
- Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
To join Bank The Blue’s network of highly qualified Clinicians, please fill out our online questionnaire. After completing the questionnaire, qualified Clinicians will meet with Bank The Blue’s Head Clinician, Dr. Robin Kroll, for further assessment.
